Upcoming Events  

Cottonwood & Jackson Counties:

           Wednesday, July 1st: Life on the Farm Small Group Mentoring Activity from 10:00am-12:00pm. Meet at the Jackson office at 9:00am. You must contact Hannah if you would like to attend.

           Thursday, July rd: Photography Small Group Mentoring Class in Windom from 3:30-5:00pm. Cameras and film will be provided.

           Thursday, July 9th: Photography Small Group Mentoring Class in Windom from 3:30-5:00pm. Cameras and film will be provided.

           Sunday, July 12th: Monthly Group Activity at the Jackson KOA Campground from 1:00-4:30pm. Big Buddies, Little Buddies and their family members are invited to attend. There is no charge for Little Buddies to participate, but all others will be charged $3.00 per person. Swimming, volleyball, miniature golf (one game), and traditional camping food will be enjoyed. Please RSVP by Thursday, July 9* if you plan to attend.

           Monday, July 13th: Storytelling Hands Project from 2:00-4:00pm at the Windom Good Samaritan Center. Big and Little Buddies are invited to join us in interviewing residents about their life history. This project will include photographs and frames in addiction to the story of what the hands have accomplished during their lifetime.

           Wednesday, July 15th: Storytelling Hands Project at 2:OOpm in Windom with Little Buddies helping to make frames for the project. Contact Hannah for location and additional information.

           Thursday, July 16th: Photography Small Group Mentoring Class in Windom from 3:30-5:00pm. Cameras and film will be provided.

           Saturday, July l8th: Take a Kid Fishing Day in Jackson from 8:OO-11:30am. If you have fishing poles, bring them. Meet at the Ashley Street Bridge on the east side of the river. Bait will be provided and a hot dog lunch will be served. Big and Little Buddies are encouraged to attend. There is no cost.

           Saturday, August 1": Bird Watching Small Group Activity from 9:00-11:00am. Contact Hannah to learn more.

           Saturday, August 8th: Big Buddies Night at the Jackson Speedway. Big and Little Buddies enjoy a race at no cost. You must RSVP by Monday, August 3rd.

           Thursday, July 23rd: Boys Day 11:OOam we will meet at my office and talk with Denise from NHCS about issues facing growing boys and after we will do a fun activity.

           Monday, July 27th: Be Creative Craft Fair 5:OO-6:OOpm at the Library.
